Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy is an exciting emerging treatment area with many questions to be answered.
I have completed Segment I (an educational/classroom portion) of the MAPS MDMA Assisted Psychotherapy training. Segment II of the training (practical training with supervised treatment provision) will not be available until MDMA is reclassified as a schedule II drug by the DEA. This reclassification will make MDMA a legal substance available for use in therapy settings. I will update my website as I have more information about timelines for completing the appropriate and required trainings to provide psychedelic assisted psychotherapy.
Currently, I am available for psychedelic integration sessions. This means I am available to work with you in making sense of information gathered from psychedelic experiences, whether on your own or with a psychedelic guide. At this time, all MAPS sponsored clinical trials (the only legal way to participate in MDMA assisted therapy) are closed. If you are interested in learning more about past MAPS clinical trials click here.
There are individuals providing MDMA (as well as other psychedelics) assisted psychotherapy in an "underground", illegal, and unregulated way. I do not recommend these types of treatment as working in this illegal and unregulated manner leaves participants open to potential harm with little recourse to correct or report any issues or challenges arising during or after the experience. If you decide to undergo an "underground" treatment, I recommend vetting your "guide" thoroughly.
