Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy is an exciting emerging treatment area with many questions to be answered.
I have completed part I of the MAPS MDMA Assisted Psychotherapy training. Part II of the training will not be available until MDMA is legalized. I will update my website as I have more information about timelines for completing the appropriate and required trainings to provide psychedelic assisted psychotherapy.
I am currently available for psychedelic integration sessions. This means I can work with you to make sense of information gathered from psychedelic experiences, whether on your own or with a psychedelic guide. Please reach out if you would like more information about Psychedelic Integration sessions.
Currently MAPS sponsored clinical trials are the only legal way to participate in MDMA assisted therapy. If you are interested in learning more about participating in the MAPS clinical trials click here.
There are individuals providing MDMA (as well as other psychedelics) assisted psychotherapy in an "underground", illegal, and unregulated way. I do not recommend these types of treatment as working in this illegal and unregulated manner leaves participants open to potential harm with little recourse to correct or report any issues or challenges arising during or after the experience. If you decide to undergo an "underground" treatment, I recommend vetting your "guide" thoroughly.
The links below are for recent media publications and broadcasts about the potential harms that can come from unregulated psychedelic assisted psychotherapies. I encourage anyone considering an "underground" treatment to explore these materials, as they may help you in making the decision on how, when, and with whom to enter a psychedelic assisted treatment.

If you feel you have been harmed by a California licensed therapist who is providing psychedelic assisted therapy, please contact the board associated with the individual provider's license:
CA Board of Psychology (for psychologists and psychological assistants)
CA Board of Behavioral Sciences (for all other licensed providers)
If you feel you have been harmed by a non-licensed "guide" providing psychedelic treatment, please reach out to your local non-emergency police department and inquire about filing a complaint.
