Therapeutic style
I use a therapeutic approach that is grounded in sincerity, openness, humanity, and humor. My aim is to provide an expansive environment in which patients can uncover and examine their emotions. This container also allows room to explore thoughts, ideas, wishes, fears, dreams, and desires without fear of judgement. To do this, I use elements of Psychodynamic and Relational theories in a relaxed, calm, and patient environment.
Clinical experience
I have worked as a psychotherapist in private practice and community clinic settings since 2003. My education includes a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) from California Institute of Integral Studies, an Master of Arts (MA) in Counseling from New York University, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology from North Carolina State University.
