Therapeutic style
I use a therapeutic approach that is grounded in sincerity, openness, humanity, and humor. My aim is to provide an expansive environment within a confidential and cozy space. This container allows us room to explore thoughts, ideas, wishes, fears, dreams, and desires without fear of judgement. To do this, I combine elements of Psychodynamic and Relational theories in a relaxed, calm, and patient environment.
Clinical experience and education
I have worked as a psychotherapist in private practice and community clinic settings since the early 2000's. My education includes a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) from California Institute of Integral Studies, a Master of Arts (MA) in Counseling & Guidance from New York University, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology from North Carolina State University.
